“Startech” USB Sound Card

Cheap soundcard that I bought mainly to have an analog volume dial on my desk. Has a suspicious “treble/neutral/bass” switch. On my old desk, it created audible noise behind my USB hub, so it went into the parts bin after a couple of years.

Comment

Not great, not terrible. Noise seems to behave better now that I moved and re-wired my desk, even after the same USB hub. Still, -60 dB isn’t exactly high quality. Good enough for games and voice chat, and a couple of handy features in a small package.
